an idea about a portable autonomic shelter

maya workshop

an example of the previous algorithms has been drawn in maya 6.5
for the creation of the 3d model was created,first of all,the pattern in autocad as
the unfolded object.
after importing the autocad pattern in maya,were carried out the following actions
(in the particular sequence):
-loft curves
-move up the "convexes"
-scale(in order to pull it in)

the difference with the real paper model was that the material you re working in the pc
can bag.
so,next step for the real models is to find a material that can loose its shape
